Ruvimbo Chimedza

Ruvimbo Chimedza brings over 15 years of experience in the Financial Services sector, spanning both external audit and industry. Before joining Metropolitan, she served as a Senior Audit Manager at Ernst & Young Botswana and later as Head of Finance at First Mutual Reinsurance, where she oversaw operations across the Zimbabwe and Botswana subsidiaries. At Metropolitan, Ruvimbo has continued to build on her strong track record, applying her expertise to strengthen financial governance, drive innovation, and support business growth. She is a Chartered Accountant and holds an Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of South Africa, as well as an MBA with distinction from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University (UK). Passionate about developing and mentoring talent, Ruvimbo is dedicated to empowering others to achieve their potential. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and interior design.
